A little more than 5 months after Hurricane Ike all but wiped the little fishing community of Oak Island off the map the town continues to rebuild. With the help of Hooter’s a new sign now welcomes those who come to Oak Island. Just some quick shots for you to see what the park looks like. The sites are tight. We got site 32 I believe, It has extra room because of the transformer next to. It is set up to where half the campsites have the picnic table on the other side of the trailer. It was fun but I prefer Galveston.
