May 22 Wine & Stars Santa Fe
So what do scientists, Saturn, and Cabernet have in common? Well if you were at Haak Winery on Friday night you would have gotten acquainted with all 3. Members from the Star Gazers from Galveston and the Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society brought out their telescopes and set them up near the vineyard. Guests, while sipping on some great Haak wines, strolled from one telescope to another to see those twinkling lights up in the sky.
Listen to Talk of the Bay, as we enjoy the evening with our star gazing friends. Look for this fun event to happen again in the fall. The Haaks serve up really good food to go along with the Wine and the Stars. Check out their site www.HaakWine.com and have a look at the fun (we apologize for not getting more photos, the flash was not welcomed)
