Im going on a cruise July 1. And the port that we leave is at galveston. I checked the weather and it said it had. 90% chance of rain. Im with Carnival. So im wondering if a cruise can get canceled due to rain?
No. Your biggest chance of getting delayed in Galveston is fog.

No not just rain, hurricane or similar may mean a cancellation a delay or change of itinerary. Just make sure you have some wet weather clothing.

Cruises don’t get canceled because of rain. However, if there is very sever weather the itinerary can be changed.

no, it may be unfortunate when you stop at where ever your going to though. but there are so many things to do on a cruise ship, especially carnival, that you wont even remember its raining.

No. Although the "rain" may be from the hurricane that’s out in the Gulf now. That may, indeed, delay the start of your cruise. Keep in touch with what’s going on in Galveston.

Of course! If the ship sailed in the rain, it would get full up and sink!

I wish I could write like you as Margaret Laurence once said “When I say “work” I only mean writing. Everything else is just odd jobs.”
