Myself and 4 others are going on a cruise from Galveston. I have a few questions.
Whats the best way to get from Downtown Houston to the cruise terminal in Galveston?
Whats the cheapest way…?
Whats the quickest way…?
What do you recommend?
See if the cruise line has a shuttle, or one through the hotel you’re staying in. Other than that, a cab or a rented car (but you don’t want to pay for parking in some lot on 25th and Strand).
I’m surprised that the cruise lines web site doesn’t have directions, or your travel agent.
If it were me I’d ask a friend to drive my wife and I down there.

1. Go on I-45S and keep going until it becomes BROADWAY ST/AVENUE J/TX-87 N
2. Turn left on 26th street
3 Turn right on Sealy street/avenue 1

If you don’t have a car, consider taking Galveston Limosine. Their prices are very reasonable, and they’re dependable.

I-45 goes through downtown Houston. Get on I-45 South and stay on it until you arrive in Galveston. I-45 terminates in Galveston.
