We want to know if while on the ship, will we be able to use the pool and things like that? I can check the weather in Galveston and the weather in Cozumel for when we leave and arrive, but I want to know the usual weather at sea while in the ship.
We sailed the Ecstasy last year on 12/20 and just returned from a Thanksgiving cruise on her.
The weather was really bad on the first and last days at sea. Raining and cold. No one was on deck.
Take along a jacket and some indoor entertainment like cards or dominoes.
However, the days in Cozumel and Progresso were nice.

i agree. bring along a jacket! although i didnt go to mexico.. i went to the bahamas st thomas and stmaarten… i went jan 2 05… and and night it can get pretty chilly out on the ship… and youll run into some random rain in the middle of the sea… weather down there is usually about 70-75 for an average high…
