It has it’s charms. … It has it’s charms… The Strand may be a little hokey, but try visiting the fish markets early on the morning. They are not tourist traps, they’re real markets. I got some outstanding fish and oysters there.

agree about the … agree about the film clip but videos weren’t too sophisticated back then. i don’t think the song is that profound and tragic, despite the subject matter. the way it’s done is great and I have also heard jimmy webb do it slower with only a guitar and it was just OK
