I am looking to move to Galveston and was wanting some information. I have visited several times and already know that I like the area. What I would like to know is if anyone can point me to a web site that has local rental house information. I have checked the major sites and only found a few properties I know there have to be more. I know from looking at real-estate in my area that there are always local home rental companies that don’t show up so if anyone has any info it will greatly help.
Here are some local homes for rent: http://realestate.galvnews.com/for-rent/Galveston-TX-USA/REALTOR-LISTINGS-source
You can choose your criteria and look at the listings. There are a lot of rentals listed by Joe Tramonte Realty, so you can try looking on their site as well. I’m about to move out of my rental house…you can have it.
Just kidding. A lot of people just put up fliers to rent their houses too. Are you near Galveston? At UTMB and TAMUG, people just put up fliers rather than advertise in the paper. That’s how I found my house. But, there are decent ones advertised, you just might have to weed through a bunch of them. Good luck, and welcome to Galveston!!
