I am looking more like boat rides, submarines or ship tours on my galveston,tx trip…any suggestions

There’s Schlitterbahn (sp). There is a drive-on ferry you can (hopefully you still can) ride, gift shops, etc.

The Strand is a good place to visit — shopping, eating, people watching

    Schlitterbahn is cool.

There is SeaWolf park near Galveston — the USS CAVALLA (WWII Submarine) ; the USS STEWART (destroyer escort – one of only 3 in the world); a Fishing Pier; and a Playground.

You can tour the tall ship, Elissa, and the Texas Seaport Museum at Pier 21.

There are TONS and tons of fishing and bay cruises, just search for one.

http://www.galveston.com is a good source for things to do in Galveston.
