That are hiring? I’ve always been super interested in trying this out, and now I really want to. I’m from Houston, TX but I need to know if there are any hiring in Houston, or Galveston, TX. :) Or just anywhere in between them? Any names for cruise ships that are hiring? Has anyone ever been an employee on a ship? Is it fun? I love working with people, so.. IDK. Just need help starting. Ideas? Thanks a head of time!

Your best bet would be to go to the cruise line websites directly and look under the job section. You will need to contact them all to find out. Cruise lines don’t tend to advertise jobs you will need to do the work to find out.

Hey, I’m 13 and I am looking ro see if anyone is going and if they are like boarding in Galveston, Texas. Like anyone around 13 (12,14) because it would be cool to meet with someone and go the different places and stuffs. I only have 2 brothers and I can’t do much with them. So if anyone is going reply and maybe we can plean something.

Oh and is it fun in the Club C thingy?? I was wondering! And is it easy to make friends? Thanks if anyone answers!

Hello Taylor,
I will unfortunately not be sailing with you this july but will tell you from past experience as a teen on carnival cruise line. Circle C is there teen program which is so much fun basically they bring you to so many activities and experience things that other people cant see like go into the kitchen to see how they prepare for dinner or to see the cast after performing a show in the theatre. Not only that but their are so many teens on-board so don’t worry about being the only teen especially in the summer. Its very easy to make friends and its very cool cause you don’t always have to be with your parents instead you can roam around the ship with your new friend. The teen club consists of different times but the most popular times were from 7pm-12am. They have many things for you to do like play video games, karaoke, gym night, night swiming, etc etc. Circle C is so much fun and trust me you wont be bored and yull find a friend. Enjoy your cruise!

headed from okc thru dls to galveston to get on cruise ship jan 29th

Anytime from early November through early April it can be warm and sunny, up to the 80s or freezing with ice and sleet or snow.
No one and that means the weather forecasters have any idea as to what the weather will be like next week, let alone in January and February.

somebpdy tell me about the galveston cruise ships.

Ask the people on Cruisers Connect. I have been a member for a while now and one of them lives next to Galveston and a lot of them have been on cruises through there. I always ask the people on the cruise forums and they kindly reply every time! Hope this helps and have a great cruise if you go on one.

I am looking more like boat rides, submarines or ship tours on my galveston,tx trip…any suggestions

There’s Schlitterbahn (sp). There is a drive-on ferry you can (hopefully you still can) ride, gift shops, etc.

You might find more at their website:

I am going on this cruise next month and want to know others opinions on the ship

I went on this cruise last August. It was pretty fun. Food was pretty good. Only one of the desserts was good…and that was the chocolate cake. A lot of teens on this cruise. The service wasn’t too good, which was disappointing. LOVELY excursions, make sure you check those out. Well all and all it was pretty fun, but I do hope you have more fun than I had!!!! :)

I am non US citizen, I have a valid passport. My visa has expired. I want to know if I can go on a cruise to cozumel, mexico. The ship departs from Galveston, TX and end also in Galveston, Tx. Do I need a visa to come back to US.

If your Visa has expired you are in the USA illegally. Sorry Bud , your question does not make enough sense for me to give you an answer.
Tooo many holes in the question.
Mexico may allow you , depending on your nationality, to come one way.
As for Do you need a visa to come back to the US? That`s it for me ……………… Good Night.

How long does it take a cruise ship to travel from Galveston to Cozumel?
It pertains to this category. Just curious because my boyfriend went on the cruise and the site said back by saturday, but it seems
unlikely.

A straight shot would be under 700 nautical miles. You can look up his exact cruise itinerary online if you know the ship and the date he left. A Saturday return is very common so there is no reason to doubt this.

I would guess that a 5-9 day cruise would be normal when going from Galveston to Cozumel.

Is there a list somewhere where I can tell what ships (that are museums) are where?
Ex.

USS Alabama – Mobile, Alabama
USS Stewart – Galveston, TX
I did google it, but I didn’t find what I needed. Thanks for being a

S-M-A-R-T A-S-S.

Got that? Kay.

This site lists a large number of US navy Museum ships, I can’t say if it is a complete list, but it is pretty thorough:
